About Rowing Home
Rowing Home celebrates the ancient practice of journal writing.
A journal is both a simple record of days and a powerful tool for mental health—pen as oar.
A journal writing practice is an ongoing conversation with ourselves, inviting us to listen, to trust, to remember.
Marks on a page signal our deepest yearnings and daily observations, creating breadcrumb trails to who we are.
While often a solitary practice, journaling connects us to a greater whole—a journal-keeper lineage across centuries of inked pages testifying to desire, reflection, and discovery.
Rowing Home is a place to celebrate self-recovery and dedicate ourselves to this practice.

Absolutely, it’s anonymous. This is meant to encourage bravery and help readers focus on what matters—the substance of each entry.
Will you edit my journal entry?
We correct misspellings (mainly because we don’t know if the misspellings are from your original journal entry or a typing error).
